The Chicken Guard Automatic Door Opener (Extreme) has been designed with the most extreme climates in mind. Made with military grade electronics and coatings, the Chicken Guard Extreme model will work in temperatures as low as -20°C and as high as +50°C. With its own integrated timer and light sensor it is the all-in-one complete package for chicken keepers wanting easy installation and maximum flexibility. There is simply no messy wiring or DIY knowledge required and the motor will happily lift an existing chicken coop door up to 4kg in weight.
- Adjustable Daylight Sensor – The Chicken Guard Automatic Door Opener (Extreme) combines a light sensor with a timer for optimum flexibility. This means that the coop door can be programmed to open/close at a set time, or the daylight sensor can be adjusted to open/close the coop door based on the amount of sunlight.
- Programmable Timer – Set your opening and closing times and the door will open automatically.
- ‘Extreme’ Weatherproof – All the electronics are enclosed in a weatherproof casing and sealed with epoxy resin, allowing the Door Opener to withstand the elements. The Chicken Guard Extreme model will work in temperatures as low as -20°C and as high as +50°C.

At Strangford Incubators we ensure a very quick and efficient process from order to delivery. Once we have received an order, a confirmation email will be sent to the customer outlining their purchase. We will then endeavour to dispatch the order the same working day (if before 1pm Monday – Friday UK & Ireland) or the following working day at the very latest. Confirmation of dispatch along with tracking details will then be sent to the customer so that they can check on the progress of their delivery.

Our customers can return their order for an exchange or a refund within a 14 Day Returns Period for UK & Ireland and a 30 Day Returns Period for the rest of the world. If a customer wants to return an order outside of these parameters, then Strangford Incubators reserve the right to decline. However, we always put our customers first and we will do our best to find you a mutually agreed solution!
